Meeting place of the Mauldin church of Christ

By Way of Introduction

Many people hesitate to visit a church unless they know what it will be like when they go. Perhaps we can help you know what to expect when you visit us at the Mauldin church of Christ.

Who Are We?

We are a free, independent, self-governing congregation under Christ alone as Head, with no denominational affiliation or earthly headquarters.

We have no sectarian organization, doctrine, or creed.  Our authority is divinely inspired scriptures, thus following the teachings of Christ and his apostles [II Tim. 3:16-17]. We are simply Christians… just as were the disciples of the first century [Acts 11:26]

Our plea is for unity of all believers, based upon the Bible as our only guide [John 17:20-21].

Our congregation is made up of people who have come from many religious backgrounds, and who subscribe to restoring the 1st century church in the 21st century.

You Will Find a Friendly Spirit

We believe that friendliness is a natural attitude among people who truly love God. Our visitors, who always receive a warm welcome, appreciate the courtesy and cordiality of these Christians. We truly hope you will accept our invitation to visit us soon. It will be our pleasure to have you.

You Will Never Be Embarrassed

You visit us as a welcomed and respected guest. The preaching in our services is plain, simple, and Biblical. The theories and doctrines of men are not preached. People who are not Christians are taught to believe in Jesus Christ with the whole heart, to repent of their sins, confess their faith in the Lord, and be buried with Christ in baptism for the remission of their sins, just as men were taught to do in the New Testament. See Mark 16:15-16, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:3-4, and Galatians 3:26-27. Never is there an attempt to embarrass anyone.

The Worship is Sincere and Devout

Since our purpose is to be governed in all things by the Bible alone, our worship consists only in those items that were part of the worship in the church of the New Testament. We sing and pray, partake of the Lord’s Supper, preach God’s word for our instruction, and give of our means. See Colossians 3:16, Ephesians 5:19, I Corinthians 14:15, Acts 2:42, I Corinthians 11:23-28, Acts 20:7, I Corinthians 16:1-2.

The Mauldin church of Christ, located at 4 Gillin Drive [off Log Shoals Road near Greenbrier Elementary School] would like to cordially invite you to attend our services. On Sunday, we meet for Bible Study at 10:00am, Morning Worship at 11:00am, and Evening Worship at 6:00pm. On Wednesday Evening we meet at 7:00pm for Bible Study. We hope that you will accept this invitation to attend our services.
