What Must I Do To Be Saved?

TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN A PERSON MUST:
  1. Learn the Truth [John 17:17]. Faith come by hearing the Word of God [Romans 10:17; John 20:31; Romans 1 16, 2:16; 2 Timothy 3:16-17].
  2. Believe in Christ as the Son of God [John 14:1, 8:24].
  3. Repent of his sins [Luke 13:3 and 5; Acts 17:30].
  4. Confess before men your faith in Christ unto salvation [Romans 10:9-10; Acts 8:35-39; Matthew 10:32-33; 1 Timothy 6:12].
  5. Be baptized for the forgiveness of all past sins [Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:38, 22:16; Romans 6:3-4; Galatians 3:26-27.
THE CHILD OF GOD MUST:
  1. Daily study the Word of God [1 Timothy 4:13; 2 Timothy 2:15; Acts 17:11].
  2. Pray often [Luke 18:1; Colossians 4:2; Romans 12:12; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Philippians 4:6].
  3. Grow spiritually [2 Peter 3:18; 1 Peter 2:2; 2 Peter 1:5-11].
  4. Worship God regularly [John 4:24; Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 1 Corinthians 14:15; Hebrews 10:25].
  5. Live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world [Titus 2:12; 1 John 2:15-17; James 1:27; Romans 12:1-2].
  6. Be faithful unto death [Rev. 2:10; Hebrews 3:6, 12, 14].
THE ERRING CHILD OF GOD MUST:
  1. Repent of, and confess his sins, and pray for forgiveness [1 John 1:8-10; Acts 8:22; James 5:16].
